About Us

Welcome to Mi Tía.

My Tía travels throughout Mexico regularly, always making friends along the way. She loves to travel to smaller communities, little kiosks, shops and frequent the mercados to view the handmade goods from local artisans. She also has an eye for textiles, especially blouses. Luckily for me, I am the recipient of many incredible blouses from her travels. I would wear my beautiful blouses regularly and receive many, many compliments, and when asked where I got them I would tell them, "My Tia!"

Tia and I decided to bring these beautifully crafted blouses to you all, and frequently, straight from the weaver's hands in Mexico, without the boutique markup. Now, we have formed relationships with several family operations, artisans and women-owned businesses throughout Mexico. We are so glad to share these one of a kind confections with you and the story behind each piece.

Sizing:

All of our inventory is made in Mexico. Most of our goods are handmade and some are made from machines by the artisans in Mexico. There are no two alike, because of this, there may be small imperfections from hand-production.

Sizes are generally:

X-Small: 0; Small: 2-4; Medium: 6-10; Large: 12-14

Care:

Generally, our La Bohemia, Puebla dresses and shirts, manta honeycomb, and solid blouses without embroidery can be washed in a cold wash and low tumble dry or dry cleaned. Blouses with intricate embroidery and huipiles, we suggest dry cleaning.

Returns:

We gladly accept returns within 15 days of purchase and will offer store credit after 30 days. Because each item is unique, we honor exchanges with store credit, which can be applied toward the purchase of another item. All returned items should be unworn and unaltered.
