Each one-of-a-kind huipil is handmade on a back strap loom by Maria and her family operation in San Juan Colorado, Oaxaca. The huipiles tell stories of family history, the region and other symbolic imagery of the Mixtec peoples.
The Huipil is a pre-colonial garment, yet these colors and motifs are wearable today. We especially love the incorporation of pinstripe and vibrant colors.
